Again I find myself posting and going on about how to improve the standard of music within SL
After visiting yet more clubs and one of the biggest clubs in SL and hearing their Dj, s playing the newest dance albums from Ibiza which are just net downloads im shocked that we even bother having clubs within SL
But then again there are clubs like my own that do have real DJ,s you ask how do we at zapp know they are real and they are mixing music live well we have on the wall of our club a NGM shout cast board that allows you to see the tracks being played it not only gives title of song but the artist and the source of the song These boards made by Nilz nozaki are reasonable priced and truly are great asset to any music lover and club . If more clubs had boards like these you could see the different in the quality of the DJ,s herein SL . Many of the clubs would do well to follow suit and get these boards
As advertising live music and having a Dj playing an album can only get them a bad name
Not all the users of SL are easy fooled ..mind you from the response a friend of mine got from a club (being ejected ) when he said in convoy that do was playing a album not playing live I wonder if many so called LIVE clubs would dare get boards like this ! Let’s keep the music live here in SL don’t settle for second best just because it is second life . Make those DJ,s play requests !

well what a posting.....are the dj's live or are they fooling everyone?
The only people that can truely answer that qestion is the dj's themselves and a I strongly believe that they are fooling their fans, public, sl and club owners....what is live..the ability to play any record any time...and to mix it up so its different fom the original version..live mixing is a talent, an art, and done by very passionate people..it is in no way a pre recorded set or album being played via sam or winamp from somebodies bedroom regardless where they are in the world.
This piece of equipment would definately revolutonise live dj's in sl cause the albums would show up and show you that there are not a mixture.
The Dj board is an essential to any club wishing to advertise live music cause I would assume many club owners are also being conned into believing tat their d's are live...lets keep live music live and ecourage your club to purchase this equipment and help us weed ut he fakers so that the true mixers get the appropriate recognition........
